Infotainment Update - Repair Procedure

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:
Jaguar XK

CONDITION SUMMARY:

INFOTAINMENT CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE UPDATES

CAUTION:

The three affected modules, Front Control/Display Interface Module (High Level Display Front), Infotainment Control Module and Audio Front
Control Module, MUST be updated together. If any of these modules are replaced prior to completion of this bulletin, the other modules will require
updating.

Situation: 

A customer may have one or more of the following concerns:

Navigation screen displays kilometers (km) while the instrument cluster displays miles (mi).

^

Ambient temperature displays 0°F when it is actually 59°F.

^

Touch screen calibration mode is entered inadvertently.

^

*The vehicle powers down after one hour of non-use.*

Action: If a customer should express any of these concerns, perform the repair procedure outlined below.

TOOLS:

Jaguar IDS DVD 109 with Patch File *2* software or later and the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply are required.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a ouantitv of zero.
