CONDITION SUMMARY:

FLOOR CONSOLE ASHTRAY LID WILL NOT REMAIN OPEN, OPERATION IS SLOW OR NOISY

Situation: 

This bulletin has been issued to address customer concerns that the floor console ashtray lid will not remain open, or that the operation is slow or noisy.

The ashtray lid veneer may be bowing, causing the ashtray lid veneer to contact the console trim panel.

Action: 

Should a customer express a concern related to these symptoms, refer to the appropriate Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to repair or replace the
floor console ashtray.
