CONDITION SUMMARY:

DAMAGE POTENTIAL TO VACUUM HOSE

Situation:
A number of Jaguar XKR Supercharged vehicles may have the vacuum hose incorrectly routed. The incorrect routing can cause that hose to rest against
the EGR valve, resulting in potential damage to the hose and a possible vacuum leak.

Action:
Dealers are to Quarantine affected vehicles that are in their control and refrain from releasing the vehicles to customers pending completion of the
inspection and if required the repair, in the Repair Procedure section in this bulletin. On completion of the inspection and repair if required, the vehicle
may be released from Quarantine for customer delivery.

WARNING: 

If any damage to the vacuum line is observed at the time of inspection, the affected vehicle must be held in Quarantine until repaired per the
instructions in this bulletin.

This Quarantine Notice affects vehicles in dealer control only. If required, a further communication will be sent detailing the action required for any
vehicles in the hands of customers.

Warranty claims should be submitted quoting program code K001 together with the relevant option code from the table. This will result in payment of
