Connect the electrical connector. (Figure 3)

Release the splash shield.

Install the five Torx bolts removed from the rear lower edge of the rear fender splash shield. (Figure 2)

Install the removed wheel and tire.

^

Lower the vehicle.

^

Install the fuel filler door to the hinge arm. (Figure 1)

Refer to GTR Workshop Manual Section 414-01 and connect the battery ground cable.

Refer to GTR Workshop Manual, section 501-11 and perform the door window motor initialization.

NOTE:

The fuel filler door switch must be depressed for approximately one second before the door will open. This delay prevents accidental opening.
Additionally, the vehicle must be at a standstill or moving at less than 5 km/h (3 mph) for the fuel filler door to open.

3.

Check operation of the fuel filler door.
