CONDITION SUMMARY:

TCM FREEZE FRAME DATA NOT STORED

Situation: 

A limited number of New XK vehicles may have been manufactured away from process, and in some cases the Engine Control Module (ECM) is unable
to report the freeze frame data on behalf of the Transmission Control Module (TCM). There is no affect on the customer as the vehicle remains fully
operable.

Action: 

Unsold vehicles must be repaired prior to hand-over of the vehicle for retail sale. For those vehicles in the hands of the customer, you are requested to
repair the vehicle at the first available opportunity using IDS DVD107 patch file 6 or later. Follow the Repair Procedure in this Bulletin.

When confirming an appointment check DDW to ensure that all outstanding Service Campaigns are identified. Always ensure that the specific vehicle is
affected by this Service Action prior to undertaking any rework action and determine if any other Service Campaigns may be outstanding on the vehicle.

Warranty claims should be submitted quoting Program Code K005, together with the relevant Option Code from the table. This will result in payment of
the stated time. As Option Codes are used, there is no requirement for you to enter parts or labor; these are provided for information only.
