CONDITION SUMMARY:

LOSS OF PUDDLE LAMP FUNCTION E

Situation: 

Following the Service Action S856 software update, the door puddle lamps may cease functioning. On vehicles prior to VIN B05068, the parameter for
puddle warning lamps within the CCF was not required to be set and is therefore lost if not reset.

Action: 

If the puddle lamps fail to operate following the S856 update, reset the vehicle configuration parameter using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS).
Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin.
