Special Service Tools

Removal

1. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the LH front wheel and tire.

3. NOTE:  Use an additional wrench to prevent the ball joint rotating.

Disconnect the LH stabilizer bar link.

> Remove and discard the 2 nuts.

4. Disconnect the height sensor link.

5. CAUTION: Use an Allen key to prevent the ball joint rotating whilst removing the nut.

Release the upper suspension arm ball joint.

> Remove and discard the nut.
