5. Check the mirror motor electrical connector is fully engaged into powerfold aperture after completing diagnosis. (Figure 4)

CAUTION:

Avoid excess sealant coming in contact with the mirror motor electrical connector wiring.

6. Apply a suitable silicone sealant to both the mirror motor electrical connector and powenfold aperture, ensuring that both mating areas are covered
sufficiently but not excessively. (Figure 5)

7. Ensure all the electrical wiring is installed in the correct position.

CAUTION:

Ensure no residue of silicone sealant has come in contact with the exterior of the mirror or vehicle.

8. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-09: Rear View Mirrors, and install the affected mirror exterior cover(s).

9. Verify mirror(s) powerfold operation.
