Window Global Open Feature Inoperable / Not Selectable

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The Window Global Open feature may be inoperable or not selectable via the High Level Display Front (HLDF). When attempting to 'enable', it may
revert back to 'OFF'. This may be due to the Vehicle Dataset being changed, causing the Window Global Open feature to be disabled.

Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to enable the Global Open feature.

IDS with latest IDS-DVD and Calibration File; first available on IDS-DVD121_V6.05 Calibration File 33 Jaguar-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power
Supply

REPAIR PROCEDURE

ENABLE THE WINDOW GLOBAL OPEN FEATURE

CAUTION:

Ensure all ignition 'ON/ / ignition 'OFF' requests are carried out; failure to perform these steps may cause damage to control modules in the vehicle.

CAUTION:

A Jaguar-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during diagnosis I module programming.

1. Connect the Jaguar-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle battery.
