Compressor Clutch Relay: Description and Operation

Air Conditioning Clutch Relay

This monitor checks to confirm that the A/C control relay is responding to a request from the ECM to switch it on or off. When the entry conditions have
been met the ECM compares the state of the A/C compressor clutch relay to the commanded state. If they do not agree then a timer is started. If at the
end of the period the commanded and actual relay states do not agree then the DTC is flagged.
