Reposition and seat veneer panel.
Align and fit panel mounting brackets.
Fit and tighten panel securing screws.
Fit J gate surround. 
Perform the Battery Reconnection Procedure  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair  and fit battery cover. 

Air Conditioning Switch Control Module

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair

2. Remove 'J' gate surround. 
3. Remove center console. Refer to Body and Frame, Interior Trim.  

4. Remove radio console securing screws and position console for access.

Removal

1. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. Refer to 'Battery, Battery Cable.'  See: Starting and

Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Negative 

2. Apply protective tape to veneer panel along each side of surround.
