Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
Clutch Slave Cylinder R&R
REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the hydraulic line at the slave cylinder.
3. Remove the bolts attaching the slave cylinder to the clutch cover housing and remove the cylinder.
INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate the throwout lever socket with chassis lubricant.
2. Align the push rod (2) with the throwout lever, position the slave cylinder on the clutch cover housing and install the cylinder attaching bolts.
3. Tighten the bolts securely.
4. Connect the hydraulic line to the slave cylinder.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid and bleed the hydraulic system.
