Disconnect the electrical connectors for the throttle position sensor (TPS), idle speed control motor (AIS), coolant temperature sensor at the
thermostat, coolant temperature sensor at the intake manifold, fuel injector, air temperature sensor and oxygen sensor. Pull the harness away
from the manifold (Figure 1).

Remove the AIS motor and bracket from the throttle body (Figure 1).
10.
Disconnect the four vacuum hoses from the throttle body (Figure 1).
11.
Disconnect the transfer case and heater control vacuum hoses from the vacuum port on the intake manifold (Figure 1).
12.
Disconnect all vacuum hoses (MAP sensor, EGR, air cleaner, brake booster) from the vacuum tube assembly (Figure 1).
13.
Disconnect the crankcase vent (CCV) hose at the rear of the cylinder head cover.
14.
Remove the two bolts securing the vacuum tube assembly to the intake manifold.
15.
Disconnect the EGR tube from the intake manifold (Figure 2).
