Using the round end of a small ball-peen hammer, support the bushing from the bottom and lightly tap the upper edge to begin to roll it outward
(Figure 3). When the entire edge is rolled outward, turn the hammer head over and lightly tap the bushing to form a flat head (Figure 4). The
surface must be flat without overlapping or distorting the bushing material.

Slide the new door half of the upper and lower hinges onto the body half of both hinges, being careful not to damage the bushing and align the
hinge pin holes.

Carefully drive the upper and lower hinge pins through the hinges (they should fit snuggly) and then using a two pound hammer, carefully seat
both hinge pins against the top of the respective hinge. Be careful not to bend the prong of the hinge when driving the hinge pin; this may
require support under the hinge and/or individual prong (Figure 5).

Install the door as described in the appropriate Service Manual.
