Insert a bushing in both body hinge halves from the bottom of the hinge so the excess bushing material can be formed into a flange on the top
surface of the hinge (Figure 2).

Using the round end of a small ball-peen hammer, support the bushing from the bottom and lightly tap the upper edge to begin to roll it outward
(Figure 3). When the entire edge is rolled outward, turn the hammer head over and lightly tap the bushing to form a flat head (Figure 4).  The
surface must be flat without overlapping or distorting the bushing material.
