7. Remove the striker and shims.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the lock cylinder. Secure the cylinder with the retaining clip.
2. Connect the latch rod.
3. Install and tighten the latch screws to 9 Nm (7 ft-lbs) torque.
4. Install the striker, shims, and striker screws. Tighten the screws to 30 Nm (22 ft-lbs) torque.
