Remove instrument cluster as follows:
a.
Remove four instrument cluster bezel attaching screws, then the instrument panel bezel.
b.
Remove three cigar lighter housing attaching screws.
c.
Remove switch housing screws, if equipped.
d.
Remove six instrument cluster attaching screws.
e.
Raise and support vehicle.
f.
Carefully remove spring nut holding speedometer cable in position from lefthand upper control arm bolt.
g.
Disconnect speedometer cable from cluster by squeezing and pulling cable end.
h.
Pull instrument cluster enough to disconnect two multiple plugs, then remove instrument cluster.
7.
Remove clock, if equipped, then the radio.
8.
Remove heater-A/C control panel.
9.
Remove instrument panel switches.
10.
Remove headlamp switch and blower motor resistors.
11.
Disconnect glove box light.

Remove defroster cowl panel. It may be necessary to remove driver's side heat-A/C outlet to gain access to lefthand defroster cowl panel
retaining clip.
13.
Remove instrument panel attaching bolts and steering column attaching bolts.
14.
Remove instrument panel assembly.
15.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.
Position instrument panel assembly on side mounting bolts.
b.
Install instrument panel wiring harness on back of instrument panel assembly.
c.
Route wiring harnesses and secure instrument panel assembly mounting points.
