Operate the engine at fast idle speed and spray the entire contents of the carburetor cleaner directly into the air horn. Use ONLY Carburetor &
combustion Area Cleaner PN J8993813.

Stop engine and allow cleaner to penetrate carbon for a minimum of five (5) minutes while performing Step 5 through 8.
5.
Remove the CCV tube from the cylinder head cover grommet.
6.
Remove and discard the cylinder head cover grommet.
7.
Install the new grommet.
8.
Install CCV tube into the new cylinder head cover grommet.
CAUTION:
THE CCV TUBE MUST BE POSITIONED IN THE CYLINDER BEAD COVER GROMMET AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 1.
9.
Start engine and open and close throttle rapidly for two minutes.
10.
Install air cleaner.
