PARKING BRAKE SWITCH
The parking brake switch is located on the parking brake linkage and is connected to the ECU low fluid circuit. When the parking brake is applied
the switch is closed to ground, the low fluid circuit becomes grounded (fig. 16). The ground condition causes the ECU to illuminate the red
indicator light on the instrument panel.
NOTE: If the vehicle is moving with the parking brake applied, the yellow check anti-lock" light will come on, and a low fluid fault will be stored
in the anti-lock ECU's memory.
