Service Procedure
1.
Locate the proportioning valve to rear brake tube routing in the area of the steering shaft coupling (below the Anti-Lock Brake System
hydraulic unit), Figure 1.
2.
Move the tube away from the coupling to achieve maximum clearance between the tube and the coupling.

Note:
If a tube shows signs of fluid leakage from steering shaft coupling contact, replace the tube (PN 52003739). Be sure to route the
replacement tube away from the steering coupling. Add brake fluid as necessary.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service
completions and provide dealer payments.
