Remove the screws and radiator grille from the grille opening panel (Figure 1).

Remove the screws, side marker lenses and the headlamp bezels from the grille opening panel.

4.

Remove the nuts (4) that attach the grille opening panel to the bracket on the radiator support panel.

5.

Remove the screws and nuts that attach the grill opening panel to the fenders.

6.

Remove the screws that attach the grille opening support bracket to the front sill crossmember.

7.

Pull the grille opening panel forward and disconnect the clips and all the front lamp harness connectors.

8.

Remove the grille opening panel from the vehicle.

9.

Position the radiator baffle cover plate, P/N 53030740, with the flat end toward the top, over the air inlet opening in the radiator baffle. Using the
two holes in the cover plate as a guide, drill two 1/8" holes in the radiator baffle (Figure 2).
