1.
Ensure ignition switch is in Off position, then raise and support vehicle.
2.
Using a suitable spring, hook one end on throttle lever and other end on boss which is part of converter bell housing casting, Fig. 15.
3.
Lower vehicle, then disconnect Idle Speed Actuator (ISA) motor electrical connector and connect ISA motor exerciser box No. Ele. AB.99, or
equivalent to ISA motor.
4.
Upon connection, adjustment light should turn Off and ready light should turn On.
5.
Press retract button. System will automatically drive to proper position with adjust light turned On and ready light turned Off.
6.
Loosen retaining bolt on throttle control linkage, Fig. 16, then pull on end of link to eliminate lash. Torque link retaining bolt to specifications.
7.
Press extend button on ISA motor exerciser box until ISA motor ratchets.
8.
Disconnect ISA motor exerciser box, then reconnect ISA motor electrical connector.
9.
Raise and support vehicle, then disconnect spring from linkage.
