Remove the radiator crossmember (J) (Fig. 5).

Remove the J-nuts from the old radiator crossmember and transfer them to the replacement crossmember.

Remove the four fan nuts (C) (Fig. 3). Then remove the fan and shroud as an assembly.
9.
Remove the viscous drive unit from the old fan and transfer it to the replacement fan. Tighten the viscous drive attaching bolts to 24 N-m (18
ft-lbs) torque.
Installation
1.
Position the replacement fan and shroud in the vehicle.
2.
Install the replacement radiator crossmember in the vehicle.
