Squeeze the speedometer cable lock tabs
(G)
and remove the cable (H) from the speedometer (Fig. 5).
13.
Remove the instrument cluster (J) (Fig. 5).
14.
If necessary, disassemble the cluster and remove the speedometer, tachometer, or gauge to be serviced.

TYPE II INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INSTALLATION - WITHOUT CRUISE CONTROL
1.
Connect the speedometer cable to the speedometer. Squeeze the cable lock tabs
(G)
(Fig. 5) and slide the cable onto the speedometer head.
