Disconnect fuel lines from ends of fuel rail, Fig. 14.
2.
Mark and disconnect fuel injector electrical connectors.
3.
Remove fuel rail attaching bolts, then disconnect vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator.
4.
Remove fuel rail assembly. On models equipped with automatic transmission, it may be necessary to remove throttle pressure cable and bracket to
remove fuel rail assembly.
5.
Remove clips (A), Fig. 15, retaining injectors to fuel rail, then remove injectors and O-rings.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. When installing injector, brown O-rings should be installed on intake manifold side of injector and black O-ring
should be installed on fuel rail side of injector. Torque fuel rail attaching bolts to 20 ft. lbs.
