Disconnect transmission line pressure cable (23) at throttle arm (17).
Open the throttle to the wide open position and release it. The throttle should snap back to the closed position. If the throttle does snap back,
proceed to Assembly. If the throttle does not snap back, check throttle spring (24) for restriction or damage and repair as necessary.
Release the throttle spring tension by using a thin screwdriver to move spring tabs (25) around boss (26) and past throttle arm (17).
Open the throttle to the wide open position and release it. The throttle should return to the closed position. If the throttle does not return to the closed
position, check for and clean any varnish around the throttle plate and then retest. If the throttle still does not close, replace the throttle body.
