Connect the voltmeter negative lead to the connector terminal D.

Connect the voltmeter positive lead to the connector terminal A.

Ensure that the throttle plate is completely closed and note input voltage. Be sure the throttle lever is seated against the idle stop. Voltage across
terminals A and D should be approximately 5.0 volts. If the voltage is not correct check the harness for broken or open wires.

Disconnect the voltmeter positive lead from sensor terminal A and insert it into terminal B.

With the throttle plate in the closed position note the voltmeter reading. Output voltage should be approximately 4.2 volts. If the voltage is correct,
no adjustment is necessary. If it is not correct, proceed with the next step.

12.

To adjust output voltage, loosen the sensor retaining screws. Then tighten one of the screws to allow for the sensor adjustment.

13.

Rotate the sensor while observing the voltmeter. When 4.2 volts has been obtained, tighten the sensor attaching screws securely and remove the
voltmeter.
