Connect air inlet hose to throttle plate assembly.

Raise vehicle on hoist.

Loosen the exhaust bracket bolt on the bell housing. If necessary, replace the bracket with the provided bracket from the service kit. Loosen the
clamp around the exhaust pipe.

Using the provided seal, connect the exhaust downpipe to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the bolts to 23 ft.lbs (31 N-m).
39.
Tighten the bell housing exhaust bracket bolt and clamp.
40.
Install the provided oxygen sensor. Tighten the sensor to 35 ft.lbs (48 N-m).
41.
Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
42.
Lower the vehicle.
43.
Connect the negative battery cable.
44.
Install the Recall Completion Label:
a.
With a ball point pen, print your dealer code (5 digits) on the supplied Recall Completion Label.
b.
Peel the label from its backing apply it near the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label located on the bulkhead.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service
completions and provide dealer payments.

Add the cost of the Emissions Service Parts Package and (if used) the Exhaust Manifold Parts Package plus applicable dealer allowance to your claim.
Parts Return
Removed oxygen sensors and (if applicable) exhaust manifolds must be returned to the Warranty Material Return Center.
