Remove collar bolt (K) at the steering gear end of intermediate shaft.
NOTE:
Locking the steering wheel will help when removing the two collar bolts.
7.
Remove collar bolt (L) at the steering column end of the intermediate shaft.
8.
Fold back the rubber protective splash shield (M) to gain access to the steering gear retaining bolts. This shield (M) is located in front of the left
front wheel and at the lower portion of the left front fender.
