Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove track bar to frame rail bracket cotter pin and retaining nut.
3. Remove track bar to axle bracket retaining nut and bolt, then the track bar.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque track bar to frame rail bracket retaining nut to 35 ft. lbs. and track bar to axle bracket retaining nut and bolt to
74 ft. lbs.
