Ensure the shaft protector cup (B) is properly positioned over the end of the shaft.

Turn bolt (C) clockwise while holding the tool body stationary to extract the 5th-speed gear and bearing assembly from the output shaft.
Installation
1.
Lubricate the inside bores of the 5th-speed gear and bearing assembly (D) with gear oil (75w-90).
2.
Slide the gear and bearing assembly (D) onto the output shaft.
3.
Position a spacer tube (E) on the output shaft (refer to the drawing below).
