Separate the A/C condenser from the radiator, if equipped.

Lift the radiator up and out of the engine compartment.

Install the new radiator, reversing the removal procedure. Tighten the radiator cross member to isolator nuts to 10 Nm (86 in. lbs.) Tighten the
isolator to radiator nuts to 5 Nm (47 in. lbs.). Tighten the electric cooling fan and fan shroud screws to 3 Nm (31 in. lbs.)

Fill the system with the coolant removed previously. Operate the system to purge any trapped air from the system and top off the coolant if
necessary.

15.

Check the automatic transmission fluid level and top off if necessary.

NOTE: 

INSTALLATION OF THE RESTRICTOR CUSHION IS NOT REQUIRED FOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH STANDARD COOLING.

1.

Raise the vehicle on a hoist and support the engine with an adjustable jack stand.

2.

Remove the left engine support cushion through bolt.

3.

Install the restrictor cushion, p/n 52O59304AA between the support and the rear of the bracket as shown in Figure 1. The restrictor must be
located at the rear, with the coned end facing forward. (Figure 1)

4.

Install the through bolt and tighten it to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).

5.

Repeat the procedure for the right side making sure that the restrictor is at the rear.
