CLUNKING NOISE WHEN BRAKING
Some 1986 Cherokee/Wagoneer models built prior to VIN XXXXXXXXXXX172669 may produce a clunking noise during brake application or release.
This is due to disc brake pad movement.
Service correction involves installation of a pad insulator.
