Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the trim panel and plastic water dam sheet.
2. Remove the window weatherstrip, window channel and stationary glass.
3. Remove the window glass.
4. Remove the lock cylinder and door handle.
5. Remove the latch assembly and linkage.
6. On models with power locks, remove the attaching rivets and remove the lock solenoid.
INSTALLATION
Door Latch Linkage Connections
1. Install and connect the latch assembly.
2. On models with power locks, install the power lock solenoid.
3. Install the lock cylinder and door handle.
4. Check and adjust lock cylinder link free play.
5. Install the water dam sheet and trim panel.
