All linkage components, excluding spring, must be connected to axle housing prior to installation of bushing. Place "new" lever bushing in
lever, then using bushing installation tool No. J-35853-1 or equivalent, press bushing along with lever onto valve shaft.

Remove lever and adjusting tool No. J-35853-2, then install spring.
6.
Install lever, washer and retaining nut, then torque retaining nut to 100 inch lbs.
7.
Connect spring to lever arm, then lower vehicle and road test.
