Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair
Servo Throttle Cable Assembly
1. Using finger pressure, remove clip from pin from bell crank by pushing connector from bell crank. Do not try to pull connector off
perpendicular to bell crank.
2. Remove the chain.
3. Squeeze cable housing to bracket retaining tabs, then remove cable from guide bracket.
4. Remove cable housing retaining nuts and cable housing from servo, then spread cable to servo retaining clip and remove cable.
5. Spread tabs on chain end of cable, then remove chain.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Allow seven beads to remain outside cable tab, ensuring beads are free to rotate.
