16. Remove insulator plate bolts (if equipped), then slide plate and rubber insulator off bleed line.
17. Remove bearing retaining nut. Pry nut up and off mounting pin on transmission case.
18. Remove concentric bearing/slave cylinder from input shaft.
19. If old assembly will be reused, tape bearing and piston together.
NOTE: If installing a new concentric bearing/slave cylinder, Do not remove nylon retaining straps before installation, these straps are to protect
the seals from damage by dry movement.
Tightening Specifications
INSTALLATION
1.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lubricate pilot bearing and transmission input shaft splines with Mopar high temperature grease, or equivalent.
b. Torque all bolts to specifications.
c. Bleed hydraulic system after installation is complete.
