SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
An air or water leak may be present in the drivers side foot well. Excessive engine noise may be present. The hole for the automatic transmission shift
cable grommet may not be seated or the plug may be missing on manual transmission vehicles.
DIAGNOSIS:
Raise the hood and inspect the area. (See Figure 1). If the plug is missing, install the plug, p/n 6034362. Seat the shifter cable grommet if loose.
