Install overslam bumper and screw assembly (see Parts Required) using cone washer shims (Figure 5) according to chart below, which refers
to clearance measured in step 3.

Install nut and washer assembly (see Parts Required) and tighten to 100 in.lbs. (11.3 N-m).

When liftgate is closed, overslam bumpers should compress approximately 1.27 mm (.050").

Reinstall interior trim panels.
