Upper Ball Joint Replacement

UPPER BALL JOINT

1. Remove steering knuckle as previously outlined.
2. Position receiver tool J-34503-1 over top part of ball joint and adapter tool J-34503-3 onto C-clamp as shown.
3. Tighten clamp and press ball joint from steering knuckle.
4. To install, place tool J-34503-5 over replacement ball joint and receiver tool J-34503-2 onto C-clamp. Position tool against yoke shoulder, then

tighten clamp and press ball joint into knuckle.

5. Install steering knuckle.

LOWER BALL JOINT

1. Remove steering knuckle as previously outlined.
2. Position receiver tool J-34503-1 over ball joint stud and adapter tool J-34503-3 onto C-clamp as shown.
3. Tighten clamp and press ball joint from steering knuckle.
