1.

Remove valve body as previously described, then remove bolts attaching park rod bracket to case, Fig. 13.

2.

Remove park rod from manual valve shaft sector, then remove park rod, park rod pawl, pin and spring, Fig. 22.

3.

Examine parts for wear or damage and replace if damage is found.

4.

Install pawl in case, then insert pin and install spring. Ensure spring is positioned as shown in Fig. 22.

5.

Install park rod and bracket and torque bolts to specifications.

6.

Install valve body, oil screen, pan and refill transmission with fluid to appropriate level.
