THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO 1992 VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 4.0L ENGINE BUILT PRIOR TO MDH 0203XX (FEBRUARY 3, 1992).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Vehicles may exhibit a rough idle or vibration when stopped and in gear. This condition may be caused by front engine mount support cushions that are
stiffer/harder than was specified.
DIAGNOSIS:
Vehicles built prior to the suspect date code that exhibit this condition should have their engine mounts inspected. Engine mounts that do not have a
yellow or orange paint mark on the support cushion should be replaced.
PARTS REQUIRED:
2 Engine Mounts 52040267
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacement of the engine mounts with a revised mount.
Replace the front engine mounts with PN 52040267, as outlined in the 1992 Engine, Chassis, and Body Service Manual, Publication Number
81-370-2145.
