1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and remove defroster duct bezel from the instrument panel.

2.

Remove steering column cover insert, then the parking brake retaining screw from lower section of instrument panel.

3.

Remove lower section of instrument panel from upper section.

4.

Remove screw and ground wire from upper section, then loosen instrument panel to cowl side panel screws.

5.

Pull instrument panel outward from dash panel for clearance, tilt rearward and disconnect the following:
a.

Wire harness connectors

b.

Side window defogger tubes.

c.

Heat/Vent tube.

d.

Temperature control cable from upper section of instrument panel. 

6.

Remove upper section of instrument panel from vehicle.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.
