Windshield Washer Low Fluid Level Lamp Comes On When Reservoir Is Not Low
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO 1992 VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO MDH 1101XX (NOVEMBER 1, 1991).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The windshield washer low fluid level lamp may come on when the reservoir fluid level is not low. This may be caused by a fluid level sensor float that
is to short. Vehicles built prior to MDH 1101XX and experiencing this condition should have the following procedure performed.
PARTS REQUIRED:
1 Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor 56000698
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing a revised windshield washer fluid level sensor in place of the original sensor.
1.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor and remove the sensor from the reservoir.
2.
Install the new sensor, PN 56000698 into the reservoir and connect the electrical connector.
3.
Verify operation.
