Mopar Threadmaker
PN 4467725
Mopar Threadmaker is a two-part epoxy product that is used to restore damaged or stripped threads in certain applications. This material is designed to
repair stripped threads in noncritical areas. It is quick, easy, and requires no special tools. It is also easy to use in limited access areas where removal of a
component may be difficult.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
Thoroughly clean the area to be repaired with Mopar Brake and Carburetor Cleaner (PN 4318037 or equivalent).
2.
Apply release agent to the bolt threads.
3.
Mix thoroughly a 50-50 blend of the two-part epoxy.
4.
Place material into bolt hole and screw bolt into hole.
5.
Wipe off excess material and wait for 15 minutes.
6.
After 15 minutes, torque to normal specification.
NOTE:
TEMPERATURES BELOW 65~F MAY REQUIRE LONGER CURE TIME.
7.
If the application requires Mopar Lock-N-Seal or Stud-NBearing mount thread locking compounds, wait for the Threadmaker to cure 15 minutes.
Then, remove the bolt, apply the thread locking compound, and torque to specification.
