Remove the horn contact mechanism and flex-plate from the steering wheel, Figure 4.

Remove the steering wheel retaining nut.

Remove the steering wheel with an appropriate puller tool.
6.
Remove the spring-loaded contact pin by pulling outward, Figure 5. Discard the contact pin.

Remove the spring retainer from the contact pin cavity by pulling outward with needle nose pliers, Figure 6. Do not remove the spring.
