Position the new steering wheel PN 83502809 on the steering shaft hub.

Route the upper horn wire through the access hole in the vibration dampener, PN 52003757, Figure 2.

Position the dampener on the steering shaft so that the extruded holes on the dampener mate with the threaded holes on the steering wheel, Figure
3.
13.
Install the steering wheel retaining nut and torque to 25 ft.lbs. (34 N-m).
14.
Connect the horn wires to the cover (PN 52000562) contact switch, install cover using three screws PN 34201298.
NOTE:
IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO BEND THE UPPER CONTACT SWITCH TERMINAL UPWARD TO PROVIDE
SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE BETWEEN IT AND THE VIBRATION DAMPENER.
