Fold back the rubber protective splash shield
(M)
to gain access to the steering gear retaining bolts. This shield (M) is located in front of the left front wheel and at the lower portion of the left
front fender.
9.
Remove the three bolts (N) securing the steering gear to the frame.
NOTE:
DO NOT disconnect the power steering hoses or the pitman arm from the steering gear.
10.
While lowering and tilting the steering gear, slip the intermediate shaft (P) from the end of the steering gear cross shaft (Q).
