Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect hydraulic line from master cylinder, then plug opening to prevent dirt from entering line.
2. Remove cylinder pushrod to clutch pedal cotter pin and washer, then slide rod off pedal pivot.
3. Remove master cylinder to dash panel attaching nuts, then the master cylinder.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque cylinder attaching nuts to 19 ft. lbs., then bleed hydraulic system.
