Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1.

Remove retaining strap and mounting bracket from coolant bottle.

2.

If equipped with anti-lock brakes, remove brake pump and bracket as an assembly, then position aside.

3.

Remove hose bracket retaining screw located near hood prop rod.

4.

Disconnect electrical connectors from blower motor, then remove blower motor/fan assembly.

5.

Remove blower motor fan from motor shaft to gain access to attaching screws. Ears A and B of retainer clip 3 must be over flat surface C on
motor shaft 1.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
